Yasser Aman served as a community health center CEO for more than 13 years, transforming a student-initiated free clinic to establish a comprehensive FQHC in the most medically underserved communities in Los Angeles. His passion is to cultivate opportunities, collaborations and capacity for institutions that serve vulnerable populations. Dr. Aman’s expertise includes strategic planning, health policy, program development and health system design.
At HMA, he helps clients navigate system redesign, care integration and program evaluation. He specializes in helping develop business and operational strategies for Federally Qualified Health Centers and other primary care safety net providers to successfully transition and respond to the rapidly changing health reform environment. Yasser has worked with state agencies, primary care associations and health plans to explore new payment and care delivery models to support safety net providers’ goals to achieve triple aim objectives. He is particularly interested in helping public health safety net providers create integrated delivery systems that effectively manage the health of vulnerable population health across the entire continuum of care.
