Accelerated MPH Program Curriculum

Only available during the summer, the 42-credit MPH accelerated program includes 16 credits of core public health coursework, 16 credits in the public health concentration, 8 credits of electives and 2 credits for the practicum and capstone course. Students complete the program in four semesters (summer, fall, spring, summer).

  • The Accelerated MPH Fast-Track Program requires that you take two to four courses each term, which can be equivalent to a 40-hour-per-week course workload. Students complete a practicum during the final semester.
  • The accelerated program has a summer start date in May. Students are accepted and notified on a rolling basis.

For a successful degree journey, USC recommends that students do not work when enrolled in the Accelerated MPH Fast-Track Program.
